Super Visa
This visa is multiple entry visa which specifically allows parent and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent resident. It allows them to stay in Canada for 5 years at a time giving up to 10 years of visa.
Eligibility requirements to apply for a super visa :
• Be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident of Canada
• Have signed letter from their child or grandchild which includes a promise of financial support for the length of their stay,
• The list and number of people in the household of their child or grandchild.
• A copy of child or grandchild’s Canadian citizenship or permanent resident card
• Have a proof of medical coverage form a Canadian insurance company for at least $100,000 be valid for 1 year from the date they enter Canada
• Applicant’s child or grandchild must meet the low-income cut off(LICO) requirements
